Telespazio Germany headquarters is based at the Europahaus building in Darmstadt. It hosts a variety of in-house projects for air and space travel, as well as individual, central business function.

ESOC: The European Space Operations Centre serves as the main mission control centre for the European Space Agency.
EUMETSAT: The European Organisation for the Exploitation of Meteorological Satellites is an intergovernmental organisation for monitoring weather, climate and the environment. It provides its 30 member states with meteorological imagery and data.

Cologne

EAC: The European Astronaut Centre (EAC), home to ESA’s astronaut corps, is the European centre of excellence for astronaut selection, training, and support.
DLR MUSC: The Microgravity User Support Centre (MUSC), located at the DLR German Aerospace Centre, supports the preparation, operation, and evaluation of space experiments in the fields of life and material sciences. It also investigates future missions and develops new experimental and measurement processes.

Langen

DFS Deutsche Flugsicherung, the German air navigation service provider, controls air traffic in German airspace. It is responsible for the handling of both civil and military air traffic in peacetime.

Gilching

DLR: Germany’s research centre for aeronautics and space, conducts research and development activities in the fields of aeronautics, space, energy, transport, security and digitalisation.
DLR GfR: Gesellschaft für Raumfahrtanwendungen (DLR Space Applications Institute), monitors the operation of Galileo – the European global satellite navigation, timing, and positioning system. On behalf of the European Commission, GfR heads up all the tasks that ensure the secure and error-free operation of the mission.

Munich
