Telespazio Germany’s GEO-MEO-LEO Capability in Coordination with the Bundeswehr

24 October 2025

Telespazio Germany is putting its multi-orbit expertise into action with a real-life, large-scale project that brings together the strengths of satellites in geostationary (GEO), medium (MEO), and low Earth orbits (LEO). By combining these technologies, we’re able to demonstrate how seamless connectivity can be achieved—even in the most demanding scenarios.

This work is being carried out in close coordination with the Bundeswehr (German Federal Armed Forces), supporting a range of critical operations where resilient, always-on communications are essential. The goal: to ensure that users can rely on stable and secure connections at all times, regardless of individual system outages or changing operational needs.

Our teams are fully engaged in this effort, working side by side to guarantee flawless service continuity. By leveraging the unique advantages of each orbit, we’re delivering connectivity that’s robust, flexible, and ready to meet the challenges of modern missions.

We would like to express our sincere thanks to the Bundeswehr for their ongoing collaboration and trust. Their partnership is a key factor in achieving the high standards of operational excellence and mission assurance that these projects demand.

With more than 60 years of experience in satellite communications, Telespazio remains a trusted advisor and independent system integrator for SATCOM solutions in Germany. We look forward to continuing to push the boundaries of what’s possible, together with our partners.
