What is the history behind your job at Telespazio (Which decisions, interests or events led you to the position you are in today)?

The decision to join Telespazio came because of the interesting challenge to join one of the biggest European projects to provide Europe with Galileo, its own navigation satellite system. Telespazio gave me the opportunity to join the project as a Spacecraft Controller. My typical workday depends on the situation but mainly it is filled with spacecraft database management, which includes operational database development, analysis, implementation and validation of DCRs (database change requests) coming from subsystem engineers or the satellite manufacturer, anomalies investigation, analysis of data to support Flight Operations.

My favourite part of the job is the continuous process of learning in a collaborative environment.

Joining an exciting project like Galileo from the very beginning and have been part of the team that supported the pre- and post-launch activities in the deployment of the constellation.
