The Position

In this position you will lead the development of our aviation & air traffic management business line in the EMEA region. Our focus is software systems based services to European ANSP's and the emerging Autonomous Traffic Management (ATM) market.

You will work in close coordination with our delivery teams, to formulate our strategy and the direction that we should take, based on your market insights. You will identify and engage with potential clients, to qualify business opportunities. You lead the response to the client, supported by the technical teams.

Communication, teamwork and collaboration is in focus!

This position is based at our Headquarter in Darmstadt. It is full-time and permanent and expected starting date will be February 2022.

About you

  • You are driven and want to achieve success.
  • You know that delivery and sales must work closely together, because selling is a team effort and what has been sold also has to be delivered. You can bridge the two views of the world!
  • You understand the ANSP market in Europe and follows the developments in the area of drones and Unmanned Traffic Management. You are creative and see trends, possibilities and connections that others do not see.

Qualifications/Experience

  • 2+ years experience in similar role in the Aviation domain
  • A network at senior level into European aero space organizations

Essential Skills

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Overview of the European Aviation ecosystem; players, business models and funding channels
  • Structured methods for business development
  • Ability to perform structured analyses of markets and define strategies
  • Experience in working in close integration with delivery (pre-sales) teams

Desirable Skills

  • Use of CRM tools, particularly Salesforce
  • German language is a plus but not essential
