Reputation is a crucial asset for Telespazio. We therefore expect each and every employee to be committed to the highest ethical standards, complying fully with laws and with internal rules as defined in our Code of Ethics.

Our parent company, Leonardo, is a member of both the AeroSpace and Defence Industries Association of Europe (ASD) and the International Forum for Business Ethical Conduct (IFBEC) whose Global Principles of Business Ethics for the Aerospace and Defence Industry* we fully endorse.

Four crucial elements form the basis of responsible business conduct:

  • Setting rules and defining expected behaviour for all our employees – Our Code of Ethics
  • Engaging people - Promoting awareness of and commitment to our Code of Ethics
  • Detecting and controlling - Encouraging employees to report any specific concerns that they may have regarding compliance with our Code of Ethics without fear of retaliation; applying “appropriate, proportionate and dissuasive sanctions for evidenced cases of non-compliance”.
  • Mitigating and reinforcing – Continuously analysing and monitoring potential compliance risks and ensuring management follow-up.

Our company is a member of DICO - German Institute for Compliance.
